Privacy Policy

The homepage, tip page and stats page can show platform names, avatars, estimated support totals, rankings and individual chat activity statistics. Subscription and gift values are estimates in USD, not exact spending or creator earnings. Verified linked accounts may be combined into one public profile; a typed donor name does not establish a link to a platform account.

Signed-in viewers can hide their public profile in the hub Account settings. This removes linked platform identities from this site’s supporter boards, individual activity stats and verified recent tips on new page loads, including accounts previously unlinked. Anonymous or unverified submissions cannot reliably be matched to your account; contact us to request a correction or removal. Aggregate activity counts can remain without identifying you.

This preference does not change live alerts, platform chat, existing stream recordings or copies already viewed or shared by others. It does not delete payment, account or dispute records that are retained for their separate purposes. Use the contact channels below for other access, correction or removal requests; we may need to verify ownership.

The site uses account data to sign you in, show your linked platform names, prevent duplicate linked accounts, keep one credit balance across site features, and verify eligible follow or subscription bonuses.

Credit data is used to show your balance, process games and redemptions, show activity history, and keep credit updates consistent between the website and live stream tools.

OAuth tokens are used only for the features that need them, such as refreshing account information or checking whether a linked platform account follows or subscribes to iChrisIRL where the platform supports that check.

Tip and alert information is used to arrange payment, prepare and moderate your submission, play it on stream, keep transaction records, and handle support, refunds and disputes. A linked Kick identity can verify the donor name. Tipping does not require creating an account.

Your display name or verified Kick username, alert type and tip time may appear on the tip page. Stream alerts and chat messages may also show your tip amount and submitted content. Messages, generated sounds and voice recordings may be broadcast publicly and remain in stream recordings or related clips.

Recording requires microphone permission in your browser. If you choose a voice memo and continue to payment, the recording is uploaded before payment is completed. Cancelling or abandoning checkout does not immediately delete that upload.

Uploaded tip voice memos have public file links: anyone with the URL can access the recording, even if it has not been approved or played. Do not include confidential information or record other people without permission. Copies made or shared by viewers may remain outside our control; this does not remove any privacy rights you have under applicable law.

Account, linked account, session, credit and tip records are stored in Supabase. Voice memos are stored as audio files. The site uses server-side API routes for sensitive account operations, and OAuth tokens are encrypted before being stored.

The browser receives a signed session cookie so it can recognize your session. Service credentials and provider secrets are kept server-side and are not intentionally exposed to the public website.

Access to account and payment records is different from public alert content and public voice memo links. No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure.

The site does not sell your linked account data, OAuth data, YouTube API data, or credit balance data. Data may be processed by hosting, database, analytics, platform OAuth, and live stream tooling providers only as needed to run the site.

When you link an account or earn certain bonuses, the site may send a short operational notification to the stream control/Discord logging system, such as the linked username and provider. This is used for moderation and operational awareness.

Alert content and related transaction information are passed to the live stream tools and providers described on this page. We may disclose relevant records to respond to a payment dispute, prevent fraud, meet a legal obligation or protect the rights and safety of others. Linking an account does not give us permission to use its data for unrelated purposes.

The sign-in cookie supports your account session. You can manage cookies and site permissions in your browser; blocking session cookies may prevent account features from working. You can refuse microphone permission and use a text message or sound description instead.

Vercel Web Analytics measures site usage. Stripe and linked platforms may process additional information when you use their services, under their own privacy notices. You do not have to include personal or sensitive information in an alert prompt or recording.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, processing is based on providing the account, payment and alert services you request, complying with legal obligations, or legitimate interests such as maintaining security and preventing fraud, where those interests are permitted and do not override your rights.

Where consent is required, it must be obtained for the relevant use and you can withdraw it for future processing. Accepting the tip terms is not blanket consent to unrelated uses of your information.

Account and credit records support your account, balance and activity history. Payment, transaction and relevant security records may need to be kept for accounting, fraud prevention, disputes or legal obligations. Retention depends on the record, its purpose and applicable requirements.

The stream backend attempts to delete uploaded voice memo files older than 24 hours, checking after startup and hourly while it runs. This cleanup is not a guaranteed deletion deadline. Cancelling checkout does not immediately delete an upload, and removing an audio file does not erase the associated tip or payment records. You can request deletion or a review of what is still needed using the contact channels below; we will explain any records that must be retained and why.

Removing a file or record we control does not necessarily remove it from a stream recording, third-party copy or a provider record that the provider must lawfully retain. Requests are assessed under applicable law, including any rights to deletion or restriction.

iChrisIRL operates from Australia and uses providers that operate internationally. Your information may be processed outside your country, depending on the hosting, storage, payment or audio service used. Provider privacy notices describe their processing locations and transfer practices.

Where international transfer protections are required, those requirements continue to apply. Contact us for information about the locations and arrangements relevant to your data. This notice does not ask you to waive those protections.

You can unlink platform accounts from your account page where supported. You can also revoke OAuth access from the relevant platform account settings, such as Google, Twitch, Discord, or Kick.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, receive a portable copy, restrict or object to processing, or withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Contact us to make a request; we may need to verify that the data relates to you before disclosing or changing it.

You may raise a privacy concern with us and, where applicable, complain to the privacy regulator in your country. Our contact process does not limit that right. The protections that apply to you are not excluded by the tip terms or this policy.
